Renee is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has her license to practice in the state of Florida. She was raised in a military family and lived in many different states throughout her childhood before relocating to Panama City Beach, Florida. Renee obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University (Go Noles!) in 2010 and began her career as a First Grade teacher. With experience teaching in an inclusion classroom and serving as an academic interventionist, Renee obtained her Master’s Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from FSU. She has experience working with school-age children in the school setting, ages 0-3, and preschool children in daycare and home settings with varying speech and language needs.
Areas of interest include early intervention for toddlers and preschoolers, expressive and pragmatic therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, treatment of articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive delays, fluency disorders, developmental disorders, as well as genetic disorders and syndromes.
Renee is passionate about play-based therapy, early intervention, literacy-based treatment, and parent coaching. She enjoys working together with families to watch their children learn, grow, and carryover their communication skills into their natural day-to-day environments.
